I fell in love with the Pronovias Brown during Covid and actually contacted Pronovias because I was desperate to try it on. They arranged for a sample to be sent to my local bridal boutique and the minute I put it on, I knew it was the one. I absolutely fell in love with it.
I had recently had a baby, so I was advised to order the gown a little bigger and have it altered to fit me properly closer to the wedding. Those alterations were never done, so the dress is completely unaltered.
It is the most spectacular Mikado ballgown with beautiful lace detailing, long sleeves and the most incredible statement train. The Mikado fabric is honestly something else. It has this gorgeous weight and structure to it, but at the same time it feels unbelievably smooth, almost like butter. It really is stunning.
And the best bit… IT HAS POCKETS!
Our plans have changed and we are now having a much smaller wedding. As much as I absolutely adore this dress, it is simply too grand for the wedding we now have planned, which is the only reason I am selling it.
The gown is unworn and has never been altered.
