Jenny Packham’s Bridget dress provides a glimpse of exactly what today’s modern bride is looking for – clean silhouettes that flatter the body, small slit at the centre back seam and contemporary details. Here, those details present themselves in the form of a frisson of delicate feathers to the shoulders and a black embellished waistline trim. Classic bridal elements aren’t forgotten though: intricate jewelled embellishments accent the waistline, decolletage and collarbones and hemline skims the floor. It’s the perfect marriage of modernism and tradition.
The dress is a Uk 12 and is true to size.
Minimal alternations have been made to the dress- cups added (easily removed or changed), taken up slightly (dress owner is 5’7’’ and wore 4’’ heels), so this should be a good length for most heights.
The dress was purchased in August 2022 at Sharon Hoey Luxury Bridal Boutique, Dublin and was wore once. Alterations also completed at Sharon Hoey. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and stored appropriately.
