WHY I LOVED THIS DRESS This stunning Eliza Jane Howell was the first dress I tried on and I fell instantly in love with it. The dress was so comfortable and easy to wear. It is so elegant and I truly felt amazing all day wearing this beautiful dress. I would be so happy for this dress to have another day out and make another lady feel as special and beautiful as I did. I absolutely adored the art deco style of this dress and paired it with fabulous vintage inspired forest green suede shoes, emerald earrings and a simple pearl bracelet. ORIGINAL PURCHASE The dress was purchased from Eden Manor Bridal in March 2022. Original tags included. CLEANING The dress was professionally dry cleaned immediately after the wedding (February 2023) and has been stored in a dry, dark room since. Dress bag included. DAMAGES There are no major imperfections – a few pulled threads, and a few pearls gone but this wouldn’t be noticed really. There are spare pearls if needed. No stains – I did not wear fake tan or added body make up of any type to my skin. More photos may be requested. OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION The Gloria Vanderbilt is a raised back option of the Vanderbilt dress from the Studio 54 collection. An elegant, slim line bridal gown with spectacular vintage styling! This dress features a beautiful repeated pattern of 1920’s style fans that are delicately embroidered with pearls. The V neckline features a slight curve and the cap sleeves softly drape over the shoulders, softening the look. BUYING AND RETURNS Interested buyers are welcome to come to my house to view and try the dress on before purchasing. No returns once purchased. Alterations I got alterations done as the dress was too big – the dress size is 20 but I was a regular dress size 16 when buying it. When getting the alterations done I would have been a regular dress size 14-16. The waist was brought in. The length was taken up and the dress was lifted at the shoulders. The overall shape of the dress was not altered. I also got hooks added in the straps to hold bra straps in place and a button added underneath the bottom of the dress to hook it up for dancing.
