Crisanthemo Wedding Dress – UK 8–12
I originally purchased this beautiful Crisanthemo wedding dress in a UK 12. It is made from a lightweight fabric, making it exceptionally comfortable and easy to wear throughout the day. The structured corset-style bodice provides support while still allowing the dress to feel relaxed and effortless.
I chose this dress because I loved its more relaxed, contemporary style. It felt elegant without being overly formal, and the statement bow at the back created such a beautiful focal point that I didn’t feel the need to wear a veil.
Alterations & Fit
The bodice has been slightly taken in and the dress would now best suit someone between a UK 8–12, depending on your preferred fit. The bodice has three hook-and-eye fastening positions, allowing you to adjust how closely you would like the dress to fit.
I also made a few bespoke alterations to the back. I replaced the original bow with a larger, more structured bow made from a stiffer fabric, giving it more volume and making it a real statement feature. I also had the back lowered slightly to create a more open and flattering silhouette and to showcase the bow. I added removable arm covers that I removed after the church. They added an elegance to the dress for the ceremony.
Condition
The dress has been worn once for my wedding and has been carefully looked after since.
